Da Surf Girl   As I knee-paddle through the swells, reaching the crest of a wave, I lift my arms out from my sides, feeling as if I'm flying before dropping down the backside. The dawn is young and there are dolphins not twenty feet away. Days of fog have broken, in favor of orange-yellow rays. I can't stop smiling. It's the smell of the sea, the salt on my skin, the shining sun reflecting off the water. I've come out here with a craving to connect with the sea. Riding the waves, I've become a part of the water.
